Spencer Pond - Photography

"I am Tired" is a small set of film photographs exploring the exhaustion that blooms navigating anxiety in conjunction with the sporadic hours of working in the service industry; from bar jobs that keep one up until 4am or barista shifts that wake one up at 5am (it is always dark). What we put ourselves through to earn a paycheck is a foreign experience to our bodies and health. When can we sleep or sit when on the clock? In between rays of sunshine and dim backbar lights, when will the jagged storm of anxiety quell so that I may rest? Can it be fitfully for once?
